Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Software Configuration Analyst for the Mission Systems Sector, onsite in San Diego, CA.
The role focuses on software configuration management, CM tooling, and release engineering within a multidisciplinary team partnering with engineers and vendors. You will contribute to modernized software development practices, ensure builds align with hardware configurations, and support DoD program requirements while coordinating across development,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience; or Masters with 3 years; may consider 4 more years in lieu of degree.
- Experience with ClearCase (CC) / ClearQuest (CQ), Jira and/or GitHub with CM.
- Experience supporting scripting languages and database management.
- Experience with performing software builds and maintaining procedures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains software configuration management tools for CM, builds, reporting and delivery of software products.
- Coordinate final signoff releases and manage release schedules.
- Work with developers, QA and admins to ensure success of builds and deployments across environments.
- Support engineering teams using CC/CQ and Jira to solve release and build problems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot daily SW tasks and documentation updates.
