Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Configuration Management professional to lead the review and approval of part requests and maintain BOM data across programs. You will work with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve data conflicts and ensure configuration integrity.

The role emphasizes developing Rev-controlled documents and product structures, mentoring engineers, and supporting proposals with CM inputs. Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain).

Responsibilities

• Lead review and approval of new parts requests for military, industry-standard, and COTS parts.
• Maintain CM databases and ensure data accuracy across BOMs and part attributes.
• Guide engineering in developing Rev-controlled documents and product structures.
• Identify and recommend improvements in part creation and part lists.
• Provide training and create guides for part processing.
