Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a qualified engineer to manage supplier relationships and execute SOWs for avionics subsystems. The role requires designing, configuring, and installing avionics hardware, with collaboration across subcontract teams.

The position offers travel up to 25% and may be filled at Principal or Sr. Principal level depending on qualifications. Relocation assistance may be available and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Technology/Engineering or Math (STEM) required.
• Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret Clearance and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Supplier/Subcontract Manager (SMT) for Weapons Avionics Subsystems.
• Manage program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with AV design, test, document and subsystems hardware requirements.
• Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Collaborate with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
• Work with subcontractors to develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.
