Qualifications

• BS in a STEM field with 5 years engineering experience, or MS with 3 years.
• Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain SAP.
• Preferred: MS with 6 years or PhD with 4 years in STEM.

Responsibilities

• Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Responsible Engineer (RE) for COMMs Avionics Subsystem(s).
• Managing program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with AV design, test, document and Avionics COMMs subsystems hardware requirements.
• Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Collaborate with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
• Work to develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.
• Travel up to 25%.
