Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Principal, Sales Compensation Design & Strategy to lead the design and management of compensation plans across Sales, Technical Sales, Partner Sales, and Customer Success. You will work closely with the CRO, CFO, CPO, and COO to align pay with strategy and performance while shaping executive-level compensation decisions.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in Sales Compensation Design in tech or consulting.
Fluency with AI tools and AI-augmented workflows for compensation design.
Strong analytical skills to architect metrics for new business models (consumption, AI monetization).
Excellent presentation and communication with proven ability to influence C-level executives.

Responsibilities

Lead the Sales Compensation Design Process with the Executive Steering Committee, including CRO, CFO, and CPO level stakeholders.
Architect new metrics aligning incentives with Cloudflare's developer platform and AI strategy (e.g., Workers consumption, AI Gateway adoption).
Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, Product and GTM to ensure deployable compensation plans and governance.
