Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a capable leader to plan, manage, and evaluate operations within an assigned service area. You will partner with Directors to implement strategic priorities, oversee staffing, budgeting, and quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires a B.S./B.A.

in health care or related field and at least 3 years of leadership experience. Advanced degrees and supervisory experience are preferred.

• Advanced degree and supervisory/management experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of assigned area(s) to ensure support of the mission, goals, and objectives.
• Utilizes critical thinking in problem solving; serves as a role model for staff; manages change and implements problem-solving mechanisms.
• Responsible for human resources management, including performance appraisals, staffing, training, and compliance with policies.
• Plans and approves unit staff hour schedules; ensures effective fiscal management and budget input; pursues cost savings and revenue generation.
