Job summary

Fairview Health Services seeks an experienced pharmacy leader to oversee inpatient pharmacy operations, patient care services and technology systems. You will manage hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, efficient medication use.

The role emphasizes compliance with regulatory standards, process improvements, and financial stewardship while leading staff in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services across departments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in pharmacy required; 3–5 years progressive leadership experience.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in Minnesota.
Pharmacy leadership and hospital practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee inpatient pharmacy patient care services and operations.
Manage staff recruitment, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance reviews.
Ensure regulatory compliance and safety across medication use and dosing.
Lead process improvements and financial stewardship for the department.
Guide implementation of new technologies and EHR/pharmacy systems.
