Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to surgeons and physicians and to navigate the payer environment. You will implement marketing strategies, promote products, and help customers access therapies.

The role requires building relationships, traveling within a territory, and collaborating with the District Manager to meet sales targets while upholding Amgen values and patient focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in life sciences, business, or related field.
• 4 years of Sales experience with Associate's degree or 6 years with high school diploma/GED.
• Clinical experience in healthcare or scientific field is acceptable in lieu of direct sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
• Promote products and implement marketing strategies under guidance of the District Manager.
• Develop relationships to service accounts and manage reimbursement discussions.
• Support territory planning and share feedback on sales activities and strategy.
• Demonstrate Amgen values and maintain patient-centric approach throughout the sales cycle.
