Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care, a Humana subsidiary, seeks a Manager, Clinic/Center Administration to plan and direct the work of professional and support staff delivering outpatient care in a clinical setting.

The role requires 5+ years of operational leadership in a multi-physician office, primary care experience with full-risk VBC exposure, EMR/HIM familiarity, and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with clinicians, staff, and health plan partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational leadership experience within a multi-physician office or clinical group.
• Primary Care experience with full-risk VBC exposure to state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Health Information Management (HIM) systems.
• Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with physicians, office staff, hospital executives, medical groups and health plan staff.
• Candidates will be screened for TB and must adhere to Humana's flu vaccine policy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the work of professional and support personnel who provide outpatient care in a clinical setting.
• Work within guidelines and procedures; apply advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; determine approach, resources, schedules and goals.
• Develop and lead staffing plans and procedures for the facility and collaborate with clinicians to ensure patient outcomes.
• Make decisions related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives within own department.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
