Job summary

Humana Inc, through CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Chesapeake, VA, is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee a multi-physician office, guiding staff and aligning operations with financial goals. This role emphasizes patient-centered care and service excellence in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will manage Medical Assistants and Front Office teams, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor patient satisfaction (NPS), and work with clinical leadership on performance and risk.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operational leadership in a multi-physician office or clinical group.
• Healthcare practice management experience.
• Understanding of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Experience with EMR/HIM systems and various software tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• TB screening and Florida background clearance required for associates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations within a multi-physician office, leading by example.
• Supervise Medical Assistants and Front Office staff to promote a positive culture and scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
• Plan and conduct staff meetings with P&L awareness to link strategy to results.
• Manage front- and back-office operations to keep the center welcoming.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing training for providers and staff; monthly meetings with regional leadership.
• Monitor and improve NPS and manage service recovery issues.
• Collaborate with clinicians and risk-management on patient complaints and retention.
• Assist with administrative duties including expense reporting, credentialing, scheduling.
• Contribute to patient-centric care and service excellence.
