Job summary

Visa is seeking a Senior Manager for the Value-Added Services (VAS) Pricing team to strengthen pricing governance and monetization strategies across the VAS portfolio. This role leads governance processes, improves pricing policies, and partners with product, sales, and finance to drive cross-portfolio initiatives.

The position is hybrid, based in Austin, TX or San Francisco, CA, with at least 3 days in the office as determined by the Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
• Experience in pricing strategy, pricing, commercialization, management consulting, finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing governance processes, strategic programs, or cross-functional initiatives involving senior stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and critical thinking, including the ability to structure ambiguous issues, identify and analyze relevant data sources, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the VAS pricing governance process, including initiative intake, prioritization framework, review, approval, tracking, and reporting.
• Improve pricing policies, processes, tools, and decision frameworks to strengthen efficiency, consistency, transparency, and rigor.
• Coordinate governance forums and provide stakeholders with clear analysis, recommendations, decisions, and actions.
• Identify governance gaps and execution risks, and improve connections across pricing, product, commercialization, billing, contracting, and performance management.
