Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a pricing and packaging strategist to shape how we price, package, and monetize our products. You will combine quantitative analysis with market research to influence pricing policy and product strategy.

In this role, you will design pricing experiments, build econometric models, and partner with Product, Analytics, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Legal. You will focus on driving ARR growth and value realization across customer segments worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years designing or operating SaaS pricing models, preferably with usage-based or behavioural pricing experience.
• Advanced degree (PhD/MSc) in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Math, or similar.
• Fluency in SQL and Python for large-scale data analysis; proficiency with Looker or Tableau; bonus for dbt.
• Hands-on experience with conjoint, MaxDiff, Gabor-Granger, or Van Westendorp surveys and causal experiment design.
• Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills, turning complex models into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product usage, deal, financial, and billing data to model pricing and monetization.
• Lead pricing and packaging strategy for new product launches with cross-functional partners.
• Build value-based pricing and econometric models to quantify elasticity and ROI.
• Define KPIs and dashboards to measure pricing performance and optimization opportunities.
• Drive research on pricing strategies and packaging models across markets.
