Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions in Santa Clarita, CA, is seeking a Lead Pricing and Costing Analyst for a remote role. The position focuses on proposal cost development, pricing strategy, and financial analysis across the Integrated Systems business unit, with collaboration across engineering, finance, and procurement to ensure compliant, competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years in proposal cost development, pricing, or financial analysis.
• Experience with government and commercial proposals.
• Knowledge of FAR principles (FAR 14, 15, 16, 31).
• Experience with CPFF, FFP, and T&M contracts.
• ProPricer experience.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost and pricing activities for complex development and production proposals from RFP through award, including negotiations and responses to cost/pricing RFIs.
• Lead the development and validation of proposal cost bases, including BOEs, product costs, material costs, labor, overhead, and third‑party costs.
• Develop and recommend pricing strategies balancing competitiveness, profitability, risk, contractual requirements, and long‑term business objectives.
• Provide guidance and technical leadership to Proposal Analysts and cross‑functional team members on costing, pricing methodologies, and proposal requirements.
• Analyze complex cost data, identify drivers, risks, gaps, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare and review Cost Volumes, Sweep Packages, pricing packages, and supporting analyses.
• Lead pricing reviews and present strategies to senior leadership for approval.
