Job summary

MicroSignals, Inc. is seeking a pricing analyst to own parts of the pricing and bidding logic, deciding, route by route and minute by minute, when we can win a booking and still make money.

You will analyze pricing and bidding performance across markets, routes and partners, tune strategies against margin and volume, and build tooling with our engineers. The role requires a quantitative background, strong SQL, and comfort with large, messy datasets.

Qualifications

• A quantitative background and strong SQL.
• Commercial judgment: the goal is profit, not model elegance.
• Experience in pricing, trading, bidding systems or a similar quantitative domain.
• Precision under time pressure and honesty about uncertainty.
• Bonus: airline, OTA or metasearch experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing and bidding performance across markets, routes and partners.
• Tune strategies against margin, volume and competitive position.
• Build tooling and monitoring around the pricing engine together with our engineers.
• Investigate anomalies fast. In this business a silent pricing bug is expensive by lunchtime.
• Report results in terms of money, not dashboards.
