Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems seeks a Principal Price/Cost Proposal Analyst Level 3 to support the Strike Division on site in Melbourne, FL or Palmdale, CA. You will evaluate proposals for FAR/DFARS compliance, prepare detailed PCAR analyses, and develop cost estimates and negotiation positions.

Strong price/cost analysis experience and government contracting knowledge are required. Active Secret clearance is preferred; SAP eligibility is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years related experience; or Master’s with 3 years; or PhD with 1 year
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
• Must have current/prior Price Cost Analysis experience including report writing
• Knowledge of Government contracting environment (FAR and DFARS)
• Ability to meet deadlines in a multi-tasking environment with strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluates proposals for FAR/NG requirements
• Prepares detailed PCAR analyses to validate labor, materials, and other cost elements
• Conducts market research and develops cost estimating models
• Confers with suppliers to analyze factors affecting prices
• Participates in fact-finding sessions to review basis of estimates
• Performs regression analysis to account for learning or quantity variance
• Provides negotiation support throughout subcontract negotiations
• Maintains all records and data used in proposals
