Job summary

FORMA-FAB METALS, INC. is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to produce precision parts from metal and other materials using a press brake. You will select tooling, set up equipment, load programs, and ensure parts meet engineering drawings.

The role requires 4–5 years of press brake experience, preferably with Amada equipment, and a strong background in sheet metal. Daily tasks include tooling checks, CNC programming, and ERP data entry to maintain quality and productivity.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
4–5 years of press brake operation and programming experience; Amada preferred.
Solid background in sheet metal.
Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance.
Math, problem-solving and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Select punches and dies based on material thickness and type.
Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use.
Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities.
Keep the area clean and organized.
Provide attention to detail and focus on the given task.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
Produce parts that meet engineering drawings tolerances.
Maintain excellent attendance and work overtime when required.
Input and maintain data in ERP system/Global.
Complete paperwork/job sheets required for the area.
Maintain safe operations by following procedures and regulations.
Assist in other areas as needed.
