Job summary

Quikserv is seeking a press brake operator to set up and run the machine, control feed and cut path for quality parts. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of press brake experience, be detail oriented, capable of reading drawings and measuring accurately, and pass a background check and pre-employment screening. Amada experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience on a press brake or similar machine in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment is preferred.
• Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to detail and quality oriented mindset.
• Must pass background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts for assembly operations.
• Safely load and unload sheet metal, change tools and select required machine programs.
• Operate the press brake safely with proper PPE and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Follow inventory control procedures and meet production standards.
• Learn other appropriate job functions and serve as back-up when necessary.
• Assist with machine preventive maintenance using lock out/tag out procedures.
• Meet or exceed productivity per company standards.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The press brake operator ensures that the machine is set up properly, functioning well, and producing quality product. He or she runs the machine and adjusts it to control speed, material feed and path of the cut. Job Responsibilities
