Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Experienced Presales Leader to head a North America presales function, coordinating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to shape proposals and solutions for public safety products.

You will drive process improvements, KPI programs, and strategic initiatives across Direct and Channel routes, while ensuring CJIS compliance and high-stakes presentations to executives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record driving organizational change across cross-functional teams and partner organizations.
• 8+ years in sales enablement, presales management, program management, business development, or customer success with supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to build collaborative relationships and influence external stakeholder groups (Sales, Product, Post Sales, Strategy).
• Prior experience in Emergency Call Handling (ECH) or Software (CAD, RMS) is preferred.
• Strong operational and change management background preferred.
• Ability to manage complex priorities and optimize resource allocation across Direct vs. Channel routes and product lines.
• Ability to read, analyze, and manage project P&Ls and technical proposal schedules.
• Proficiency in enterprise tools (Salesforce, Oracle-based applications, MS Office, Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage presales teams supporting software and ECH sales teams.
• Drive and facilitate organizational change across presales teams and partner organizations.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Post Sales, and Strategy teams for presale strategy and proposals.
• Oversee end-to-end presale quoting, proposals, SOWs, and system configurations.
• Develop and implement standards for RFPs, configurations, and complex proposals.
• Coordinate with Presale Management, Sales, Engineering, and Product Leadership on high-priority activities.
• Establish KPIs, resource allocation strategies, and performance metrics.
• Assist in developing broader business plans and go-to-market strategies.
