Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Presales Manager to lead and align the North America presales teams, partnering with Sales, Product, and Strategy to craft customer-focused solutions across CAD, RMS, and public safety offerings.

The role requires 8+ years in sales enablement or presales leadership, strong change-management skills, and the ability to manage complex proposals, with CJIS background check requirements and travel 25–50%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales enablement, presales, or related roles with prior leadership.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with Emergency Call Handling (ECH) or software (CAD, RMS) preferred.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage presales teams supporting the software and ECH sales teams.
• Drive and facilitate organizational change across internal presales teams and partner organizations to streamline workflows and modernize presales alignment.
• Partner heavily with Sales, Sales Management, Product, Post Sales, and Offer/Strategy teams to ensure tight alignment on presale strategy, proposal development, and customer solutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end presale quoting, proposal generation, statements of work (SOW), and system configuration processes to ensure accuracy and strategy alignment.
• Develop and implement consistent standards, schedules, and best practices for RFPs, technical configurations, and complex proposals.
• Serve as a primary liaison to Presale Management, Sales Managers, Engineering Managers, and Product Leadership to effectively coordinate high-priority presale activities.
• Establish KPIs, resource allocation strategies, and performance metrics across both direct and channel-focused teams.
• Assist in the development of broader business plans, go-to-market strategies, and organizational approaches to capitalize on public safety market opportunities.
