Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Presales Leader to drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams within the North America Presale group. You will guide strategic proposals, manage complex RFPs, and align resources for direct and channel routes to market in the public safety portfolio.

The role emphasizes strong organizational change management, executive communication, and a robust background in CAD/RMS software or ECH when applicable.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, presales management, program management, business development, or customer success, with prior supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to build collaborative relationships and influence external stakeholder groups (Sales, Product, Post Sales, Strategy).
• Demonstrated track record of driving organizational change across cross-functional teams and partner organizations.
• Prior experience in Emergency Call Handling (ECH) or Software (CAD, RMS) is preferred.
• Background in or familiarity with the public safety market is preferred.
• Proficiency in enterprise tools (Salesforce, Oracle-based applications, MS Office, Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage presales teams supporting the software and ECH sales.
• Drive organizational change across presales and partner organizations.
• Partner with Sales, Sales Management, Product, Post Sales, and Offer/Strategy teams to ensure alignment.
• Oversee end-to-end presale quoting, proposal generation, SOWs, and system configuration.
• Develop and implement consistent standards for RFPs, configurations, and complex proposals.
• Serve as a primary liaison to Presale Management, Sales Managers, Engineering Managers, and Product Leadership.
• Establish KPIs, resource allocation strategies, and performance metrics across direct and channel teams.
• Assist in the development of broader business plans and go-to-market strategies for public safety opportunities.
