ProAssurance in Carmel, IN is seeking a Premium Audit Executive to manage audits for our workers’ compensation line within Eastern Alliance. You will analyze operations, determine classifications and premium bases, and build strong relationships with agents and clients while ensuring compliance with state guidelines.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and collaboration across departments, with travel up to 80% and a hybrid office schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, insurance or related field plus ten years of field premium audit experience.
Preferred advanced certification or training (APA or CIPA).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
Strong attention to detail and prioritization abilities.
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

Manage audit assignments, focusing on large and complex accounts to optimize timeliness.
Analyze insured operations to determine classifications and exposure data.
Record and verify data, ensuring accurate bases of premium.
Maintain strong relationships with agencies and clients.
Assist with Visual Audit Administrator tasks and monthly reporting as needed.
Lead and coach junior staff; participate in training.
Resolve audit disputes and coordinate with underwriters when necessary.
Travel up to 80% to support field audits.
