BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Senior Prelitigation Attorney in New Haven, CT, to manage complex personal injury cases prelitigation with a focus on evaluation and negotiation. You will handle strategies, demand packages, and client communications in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate must hold a JD from an accredited law school, an active Connecticut license, and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong negotiation and research abilities to effectively advocate for

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Connecticut license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years in plaintiff's personal injury, insurance defense, or civil litigation.
• Advanced negotiation, analytical, and legal research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume prelitigation caseload from intake through pre-suit resolution.
• Analyze liability, damages, medical records, and supporting documentation on complex claims.
• Develop case strategies, prepare demand packages, and monitor carrier responses.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the prelitigation process.
• Collaborate with insurance companies, legal team members, and medical providers to achieve outcomes.
• Educate clients on procedures, timelines, and expectations.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing parties.
• Evaluate offers, advise clients, and prepare settlement agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, ethical standards, and firm policies.
• Maintain organized electronic case files and track deadlines.
