Job summary

McKinstry in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Partner to drive standardized preconstruction, estimating and risk management across E&TS units. You will model how to develop and build projects the McKinstry Way, coaching regional teams and aligning contract terms with best practices.

Responsibilities include leading multi-unit delivery, coordinating with Legal, Financial and Engineering SMEs, and guiding clients through RFPs, proposals and early execution planning.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Twelve years of construction, project management, estimating or preconstruction experience.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, Viewpoint or InEight.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and project financials.

Responsibilities

• Lead standardized delivery of preconstruction, estimating and risk management across all project-based units.
• Coach and mentor regional teams across regions and business units.
• Develop and negotiate client contracts, subcontractor agreements and vendor terms.
• Collaborate with Legal, Technical, Financial teams to align risk management and contract terms.
• Ensure seamless transition from sales to build teams and capture best practices.
