Job summary

The AES Corporation seeks a Senior Preconstruction Project Manager to lead utility-scale renewable energy preconstruction from development to execution readiness. You will align scope, cost, and schedule with Development, Engineering, Estimating, and EPC partners to shape executable plans.

You will drive risk assessment, procurement strategies, and cross-functional collaboration to support successful project delivery and sustained growth in a dynamic energy market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in renewable energy project development, preconstruction, estimating, or procurement.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with EPC contracting, cost estimating, scheduling, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction engagement and align scope, schedule, deliverables, risks, and execution strategy.
• Develop integrated development and construction schedules and manage cost and risk implications.
• Coordinate with Development, Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, and Construction teams.
• Support EPC contract negotiations, bid analysis, and commercial strategy.
• Provide executive-ready reporting on milestones, priorities, and dependencies.
