Job summary

AES Corporation seeks a Senior Preconstruction Project Manager to lead utility-scale renewable energy preconstruction from development through EPC readiness. You will align scope, schedule, cost, and risk with Development, Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, and Construction teams.

You will drive investment-quality decisions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and shape strategies for large-scale projects while advancing AES's sustainable energy mission.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline.
Significant renewable energy project development and preconstruction experience.
Understanding of utility-scale lifecycle including permitting, interconnection, EPC, and construction.

Responsibilities

Lead preconstruction engagement to align scope, schedule and risks.
Coordinate with Development, Engineering, Estimating, Procurement and Construction.
Develop integrated schedules and cost estimates for projects.
Support EPC contract negotiations and bid evaluations.
Mentor team members and drive process improvements.
