Job summary

CF Evans Construction, a third-generation family-owned firm specializing in multifamily building in the Carolinas, seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead activities across multiple negotiated projects. You will drive cost planning, value analysis, and coordination with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in construction estimating, a degreed background in engineering or CM, and proficiency in Timberline, SmartBid, PlanSwift, Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering or construction management degree preferred.
• OSHA 30 completion card preferred.
• 7-10 years of relevant construction estimating experience; multifamily industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate preconstruction activities for multiple negotiated multifamily projects.
• Lead and/or perform portions of estimates, including scope understanding and quantity surveys.
• Build strong relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Support budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value analysis, and design management; provide VE options.
• Coordinate pricing with construction services teams and Director of Safety.
