Job summary

CF Evans Construction, a leading multifamily-focused firm in the Carolinas, seeks an Estimator to lead multiple preconstruction efforts. You will develop take-offs, cost estimates, and budgets, while coordinating with project teams and clients to ensure accurate, timely proposals.

The role emphasizes industry tools (Timberline, Procore, Bluebeam) and strong vendor negotiations, with opportunities to contribute to value engineering and preconstruction planning.

Qualifications

• Education & certification as described above.
• 5-10 years of relevant commercial construction estimating experience; multifamily experience a plus.
• Experience with the listed estimating tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and portions of estimates for projects including understanding scope and performing accurate quantity surveys.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and budgets from concept through final design.
• Participate in bid reviews, client meetings, and project handoff to the operations team.
• Solicit, evaluate, and manage subcontractor and vendor negotiations.
• Ability to build relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Provide value engineering options and assist with budgeting, scheduling, and design management.
