Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services NA Design & Construction team seeks a Preconstruction Manager to serve as owner's representative during preconstruction of facilities. You will lead complex, cross-functional projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution across multiple regions.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Finance, and Construction; developing scope, budget, and schedule; and ensuring timely permits and a clean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years PM experience spanning design through operation.
• Experience with automated equipment incl. packaging, sortation, conveyors.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of time.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cross-functional industrial pre-construction projects from site selection to contract execution.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, Construction, Finance, Launch/Startup, architects, engineers, permitting agencies, developers, landlords to secure resources, scope builds, set milestones and drive delivery.
