Job summary

SourceBlue, a Turner Construction Company subsidiary, seeks an experienced security project leader to manage on-site security operations. You will develop procedures to keep people and assets safe, oversee preconstruction deliverables, budgets, and performance for multiple projects.

You'll collaborate with operations, procurement, and design partners, drive value engineering, and lead meetings with owners, architects, and engineers to maintain cost, schedule, and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited program in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, and minimum of 10 years of Building Construction experience required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience with variety of building construction types desired.
• Thorough understanding of drawings and specifications, general contract and subcontract documents, materials, means and methods.
• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques, and accounting principles.
• Ability to develop client relationships, identify sales opportunities and collaborate on solutions to secure work.
• Extensive knowledge of regional market, competition, and industry trends.
• Ability to provide accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis of estimating documents.
• Advanced project management skills, able to manage high volumes of work and ability to move projects forward in a timely manner.
• Management experience required, and coach and mentor others.
• Negotiation skills with ability to influence and engage others.
• Executive level presentation skills, anticipates needs of audience, and tailors communications appropriately.
• Pursues everything with energy, drive and sees initiatives through to completion.
• Process and critical thinking skills with sound judgment decision-making.
• Ability to leverage lean concepts and continuous improvement methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site security operations and team.
• Develop and implement security procedures to protect company, executives, employees, workers, visitors and assets.
• Lead preconstruction deliverables including GMP and lump sum bids.
• Collaborate with Operations on schedule, logistics, safety, and constructability reviews.
• Develop and monitor Preconstruction budget and provide monthly financial updates.
• Lead meetings with owner, architect, and engineer for Preconstruction phase.
• Coordinate with Lean Manager on pull plans and schedules.
• Generate budget control reports and communicate scope development.
