Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, project management, or related field; 1-2 years in a managerial capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of preconstruction individuals to achieve exceptional performance.
• Directs the preparation and validation of project estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinates with design, engineering, and procurement teams to integrate constructability reviews and value engineering into preconstruction planning.
• Oversees the development and issuance of bid packages, ensuring compliance with standards and client expectations.
• Guides identification, assessment, and mitigation of complex project risks; leads client meetings and presentations.
• Supports negotiation of standard and complex contracts with subcontractors and suppliers; ensures alignment with project goals.
