Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead a team delivering high-quality estimates, budgets, and schedules. You will collaborate with design, engineering and procurement to integrate constructability reviews and value engineering into planning.

You will guide risk assessment, bid development, and client communications, while supporting subcontractor negotiations to align with project goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years in preconstruction, estimating, or project management.
• Possible managerial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of preconstruction professionals.
• Direct preparation and validation of project estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement for constructability and VE.
• Oversee bid package creation and ensure client expectations are met.
• Identify and mitigate complex project risks; communicate strategies to stakeholders.
• Support contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with SPW and Family of Companies to ensure scope clarity, risk allocation, and competitive positioning, working with estimators.
