Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a proactive Preconstruction Senior Manager to bridge design and construction across multiple EPCM projects. You will lead a team, coordinate with design, procurement and construction, and ensure resources and schedules align with budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent degree
• 15+ years experience in managing construction projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities
• Field Construction Experience on active construction projects
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Experience optimizing construction scheduling and sequencing
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of working time across North America, including extended periods at client sites and construction sites

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Construction Package Development Specialists across a program of EPCM projects with extensive coordination between design, procurement, scheduling and construction teams
• Participate as a key contributor for constructability and sequencing plans
• Drive collaboration between stakeholders and manage client interface
• Develop standard for construction packages across disciplines with procurement and project controls
• Lead planning efforts including strategy development and execution with design, procurement and construction teams
• Coordinate with safety, quality and project services teams to ensure a comprehensive preconstruction planning process
• Review project risk registers and mitigation plans
• Foster cooperative partnerships among client, contractor and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly
