Job summary

Hoar seeks a Senior Preconstruction Manager to oversee the full preconstruction process from concept through design and contractor selection. You will guide projects from early design to start of construction, ensuring the Owner's budget, phasing, and contracting requirements are met while keeping the design team on schedule.

You will collaborate with Project and Program Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Owners to align services with the project mission and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Science or Construction Management.
• 7-10 years in pre-construction/estimating for large institutional projects.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with SureTrak/Primavera and OnScreen.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains client and architect/engineer relationships to facilitate project execution.
• Lead the preconstruction strategy and assemble bid packages and cost models.
• Prepare detailed estimates (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction).
• Coordinate the transfer and kickoff meetings between project and preconstruction teams.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and support business development efforts.
