Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior quality authority responsible for establishing plant QC programs, preparing plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and resolving structural acceptance questions on prestressed products.

You will lead corrective actions, audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, qualify precast suppliers, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification with 6+ years in precast QC including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/117 and state DOT precast specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting audits.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
