Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead plant quality programs and prepare facilities for PCI and DOT audits. You will resolve complex structural acceptance questions on prestressed products and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

Ideal candidates hold PCI Level III QC certification with 6+ years of precast experience, and are adept at coordinating with owners, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors to ensure

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification required and current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC experience including supervision.
• Experience with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specs.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
