Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

The role also includes auditing supplier plants, qualifying precast suppliers, and supervising Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC experience, including supervision.
• Current PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors.
