Job summary

Pendo is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer to join the Customer Engineering team, supporting pre- and post-sales technical success for strategic accounts. This is a remote role serving the Southeast territory.

You will lead complex implementations, tailor demos, and guide executive stakeholders through requirements, deployments, and value realization, using AI tools to accelerate content, playbooks, and scalable workflows across the team.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, Customer Engineering, implementation, professional services, or solutions architecture.
• Experience with web technologies and front-end implementations.

Responsibilities

• New customer acquisition and selling: Partner with Account Directors on pre-sales motions for new customer acquisition, product expansion, and expansion across lines of business.
• Complex implementations and value realization: Lead onboarding for strategic customers, including planning, implementation, integrations, and training.
• Adoption, expansion, and growth: Identify opportunities to expand adoption across underutilized features, untapped products, and new lines of business.
• Technical escalation: Serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges raised by other Customer Engineers.
• Team capability building: Build playbooks, document fixes, coach peers, and improve team workflows.
• Early account impact: Assess account health and relationships, lead complex customer interactions.
• Quarterly business outcomes: Drive measurable improvement in customer health, retention, expansion, and technical resolution.
