Job summary

Indiana University Health in Indianapolis seeks a Practice Operations Administrator for the Department of Pediatrics - Administration to serve as a senior operational partner to the Department Chair and Associate Vice Chair of Operations. This onsite, full-time role drives execution of departmental priorities across clinical, research, and education functions.

The candidate should be strategic, operationally disciplined, and relationship-driven, with 5–7 years of healthcare leadership experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Master's Degree is preferred.
• Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Blend of management skills with financial management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate vision into actionable strategy and track progress on initiatives.
• Drive execution of departmental priorities across clinical, research, and education functions.
• Coordinate clinical quality, performance metrics, patient safety and quality improvement efforts.
• Support the Research enterprise and grant activities; collaborate with faculty affairs and education leadership.
• Coordinate with division chiefs and hospital leadership on governance, communications, and alignment.
