Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Manager for the NICU/Peds to shape strategic initiatives and lead a large interprofessional team. This role combines clinical expertise with contemporary leadership to drive quality, safety, and patient experiences.

The manager will oversee a 24x7 unit, with on-site Monday–Friday day shifts and on-call coverage for evenings and weekends. Strong NICU/pediatrics leadership and nursing credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
• If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN).
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.
• Requires an active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Required BLS certification through the AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and operational planning for the NICU/peds unit.
• Lead an interprofessional team to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes.
• Ensure 24x7 unit operations, with weekend and holiday coverage.
• Model evidence-based nursing practice and professional standards.
