Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior or Principal Practice Leader to guide environmental engineering and consulting projects from our Tennessee offices (Chattanooga, Knoxville, Johnson City, or Nashville).

The role emphasizes leadership, client development, and mentoring within a multi-disciplinary team. The position supports national and international clients across real estate, manufacturing, legal, and municipal sectors, with opportunities for stock options, profit sharing, continuing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, earth science (geology or hydrology), environmental, civil, or chemical engineering (required)
• Advanced degree in a related field (preferred)
• Professional registration (e.g. P.G. or P.E.) (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and mentor within a sell-manage-do culture on challenging technical projects
• Lead and support business development and client management to expand practices
• Oversee site investigations, remediation planning, and multi-disciplinary fieldwork
• Supervise staff development, mentoring, and subcontractor management
• Prepare reports and client deliverables under applicable regulations
• Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders in meetings and presentations
• Travel to client facilities and field sites as needed
