Job summary

Kiva is hiring a Senior Manager, Public Relations to lead the PR and media backbone of the Communications & Influence team. The role spans public relations, media strategy, partner campaigns, thought leadership amplification, and analytics, requiring guidance on strategy and execution across focus impact areas.

The Senior Manager supports the Director with PR and campaigns, leveraging borrower stories, impact stats, and research to boost external media presence and collaborate with Marketing and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in public relations and media relations, including direct media pitching and securing earned coverage.
• Experience developing and executing thought leadership strategy and positioning senior leaders as industry voices.
• Experience managing multi-partner communications or marketing campaigns across internal teams and external partners.
• Preferred: experience working with PR agencies or agency relationships client-side.

Responsibilities

• Public relations and media: advance PR and thought leadership goals and manage the PR firm relationship.
• Identify and surface borrower stories, impact stats, and metrics to support media opportunities.
• Own Kiva’s media tools and develop localized pitching lists for campaigns.
• Lead partner campaigns with Strategic Partners, Lending Partners, hubs, foundations, and other organizations.
