Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer focused on Powertrain Drive Unit and Metals. You will lead supplier readiness from sourcing through Start of Production, driving APQP/PPAP, risk reduction, and launch execution with direct collaboration with suppliers and Lucid teams.

You will guide manufacturability, process capability, and cost/quality improvements across die casting, machining, forgings, and assemblies, ensuring timely release and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in automotive manufacturing, supplier quality, or industrialization.
• Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools and quality practices.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier industrialization from sourcing through Start of Production and post-launch stabilization.
• Drive APQP/PPAP readiness and PPAP evidence.
• Assess supplier capability and manage risk with mitigation plans.
• Partner with Product Design and Manufacturing for manufacturability improvements.
• Provide leadership across high-pressure die casting, machining, forgings, and castings.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier issues.
• Communicate readiness and risks to cross-functional teams and leadership.
