Job summary

Lucid Motors in Casa Grande, AZ, seeks an experienced Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electronics, to own supplier readiness and launch for ECUs, PCBAs, sensors, and related electrical systems. You will drive APQP, risk assessments, and run-at-rate activities in a fast-paced launch environment.

You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to resolve issues, review PFMEAs, and mentor engineers while traveling up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in automotive electronics manufacturing or related leadership.
• Hands-on with ECUs, PCBAs, TLAs, sensors, embedded modules or safety systems.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP/LQP, safe launch and run-at-rate.
• Familiar with SMT/PCBA manufacturing, solder quality and EOL testing.
• Knowledge of IPC/IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and automotive validation practices.
• Proven ability to lead supplier recoveries and executive updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier readiness for electronics components from sourcing to launch.
• Drive APQP, LQP/PPAP, risk, control plans, and validation plans.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers to resolve issues.
• Review PFMEAs, test strategies, capability data, and launch deliverables.
• Lead supplier audits, line walks, containment, and CAPA actions.
• Communicate readiness, risks, and decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and standardize electronics supplier practices.
• Travel up to 20–30% for supplier and launch support.
