  • APQP and PPAP: Drive APQP execution and make readiness recommendations using Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, capacity studies, Run-at-Rate results, Safe Launch Plans, and PPAP evidence.
  • Manufacturing Risk: Assess supplier capability and manufacturing feasibility during sourcing and development, maintain risk assessments and recovery plans, and drive open issues to timely closure.
  • Design for Manufacturing: Partner with Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering to evaluate manufacturability, critical-to-quality characteristics, process capability, and opportunities to improve cost, quality, and production robustness.
  • Process Validation: Provide technical leadership across high-pressure die casting, aluminum and steel castings, precision machining, forgings, heat treatment, gears, rotor and stator components, motor housings, drive unit assemblies, and structural metal components.
  • Supplier Performance: Lead structured root-cause analysis and corrective action for supplier quality, delivery, and capacity issues, including QUAL investigations, launch containment, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Cross-Functional Delivery: Communicate supplier readiness, key risks, recovery actions, and launch decisions to Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Supply Management, Supplier Quality, Program Management, Operations, and leadership.
