Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer - Chassis Systems to drive supplier quality and manufacturing readiness across the product lifecycle.

You will lead APQP and PPAP activities, guide supplier processes for chassis components, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely launches and robust production quality. The role requires deep manufacturing expertise and proactive leadership in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing or assembly environments in supplier quality or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• At least 6 years leading APQP and PPAP activities including validation and supplier launch readiness.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specs and GD&T.
• Mastery of automotive quality tools and problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP execution from early design and sourcing through PPAP approval and mass-production launch.
• Evaluate and improve supplier manufacturing processes for chassis components (forming, forging, stamping, machining, coatings, etc.).
• Lead supplier-facing design reviews and drive DFM/A decisions for manufacturability.
• Drive and track supplier engineering changes with validated plans and documentation.
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and site inspections; push for improvements in capability and delivery.
• Contain quality issues with cross-functional teams and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure supplier processes and documentation align with IATF 16949 and related requirements.
