Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Power Uprate Piping Engineer to lead piping stress analyses and documentation for nuclear facilities across the country. You will mentor junior staff, guide technical execution, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

This leadership role requires extensive experience in power uprates, piping design, and nuclear codes, with opportunity for remote work for qualified candidates. Travel ~10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of experience in piping design, pipe stress analysis, and nuclear power design engineering.
• Prior experience supporting power uprates strongly preferred.
• Experience with AutoPIPE, PIPESTRESS, ME101 or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe stress analyses and prepare complete documentation for piping systems in nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
• Coordinate with Civil/Structural group on supports, locations, and loads.
• Prepare engineering documents (drawings, calculations, analyses) per codes and client procedures.
• Review designs and documentation, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
