Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Power Uprate Piping Engineer in the Baton Rouge area to lead piping stress analysis, design, and oversight of nuclear uprate projects for client facilities.

You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. The role offers full-time employment and remote work consideration for qualified candidates, with travel expected around 10% to support project sites across the

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
10+ years of experience in piping design, pipe stress analysis, and nuclear power design engineering.
Prior experience supporting power uprates strongly preferred.
Experience with AutoPIPE, PIPESTRESS, ME101 or similar tools.
US Citizenship required and approximately 10% travel.

Responsibilities

Lead pipe stress analysis and prepare documentation for piping systems in nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
Prepare engineering documents (drawings, calculations, reports) per codes and client procedures.
Maintain knowledge of industry codes and safety standards for nuclear facilities.
Provide peer reviews of designs and documentation.
Collaborate with Civil/Structural and other disciplines to ensure design compatibility.
