Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Technical Lead to join the NAM Power Systems Execution Team. The role is based in one of Schneider Electric’s design hubs (Boston, Nashville, Dallas, or Raleigh) and leads technical scope from project inception through execution.

You’ll coordinate with Sales, Solution Architects, and Tendering during sales phases, oversee AIS/GIS gear and substation equipment, and mentor teams across geographies. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; advanced engineering degree preferred.
• 10+ years of demonstrated success in Engineering / Technical Leadership within Large and Complex Projects, spanning multiple BUs and years.
• Proven experience with power systems engineering, including AIS, GIS, and related substation equipment.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in switchgear systems and protection and control equipment.
• Experience communicating complex technical solutions to customers and internal teams.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office programs (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Become primary technical resource from Project Manager on assigned projects.
• Take ownership for validating the project's technical scope of work.
• Monitor and manage project execution activities within scope, schedule and budget.
• Identify critical technical and/or project issues and risks and determine corrective actions.
• Maintain active tracking of project issues and risks.
• Utilize defined document management practices.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple BUs and geographies.
