Job summary

Empire seeks a field service technician to troubleshoot, repair, and recondition generators, switchgear, ATS, engines, and related systems in field environments, including remote and data-center sites. You will communicate findings to clients and management, prepare service reports, and ensure safety policies are followed.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, English communication, and the ability to work overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have current driver’s license.
• DOT licensing, medical card, and endorsements as vehicle size dictates.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports and plan cost of repairs.
• Travel to remote locations and work overtime as needed.
• Maintain safety and company policies at all times.
