Job summary

H.O. Penn Machinery, Inc. in Bronx, NY seeks a Field Service Supervisor – Power Systems to lead the field team and oversee diesel engines and power-generation equipment. You will drive safe, efficient operations and excellent customer service.

Lead technicians, manage schedules and resources, and collaborate with sales support to promote service agreements while maintaining profitability and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in power systems, diesel engines, heavy equipment, or related field service operations.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience with coaching and accountability.
• Strong knowledge of electric power generation systems, engines, and diagnostics.
• Experience managing service operations, scheduling, parts, tooling, and workload priorities.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Financial acumen including service profitability and productivity metrics.
• Commitment to safety and proper risk mitigation aligned with EHS policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead service with necessary resources (people, tooling, materials, time).
• Communicate work scope, status, and changes to all stakeholders.
• Oversee technician performance to ensure safe, efficient, profitable completion.
• Ensure profitable service operations by meeting dashboard expectations.
• Support growth through sales collaboration on Customer Service Agreements.
• Develop relations with Power Systems groups to coordinate schedules and costs.
